Traffic Tuesdays
How often do you send out emails?
How often do you send out emails?
I can attest that as a business owner balancing a magazine subscription service and a web design and SEO company, I write and send out hundreds of emails each day.
Electronic correspondence has become the primary method of communication in most companies, both for internal communication and client outreach.
Given that you send an email even more frequently than you update your website, add a blog post, or share a new Facebook story or Tweet, wouldn’t it be productive if each outgoing message could contain a device to drive traffic back to you?
Now each and every email can do just this with Wisestamp.
Perhaps you already include a link to your main URL in your email signature, but WiseStamp is a free app that lets you easily customize it to include feeds of the most current activity in your main business website, as well as in your blogs and additional social media accounts.
Nearly every business has a website, so a prospective client’s repeatedly seeing the link to your homepage in a series of emails will not necessarily make an impression.
On the other hand, proactively giving this prospect the ability to view and share your latest blog post or Tweet, or to instantly chat with you via Skype will engage your users and translate into a lot more clicks to your content, which gets your site noticed by the major search engines Google, Bing, and Yahoo. It also demonstrates that your online presence is anything but stale.
Named by Firefox as one of the top 50 popular add-ons, WiseStamp reached over 1 million installs in August of 2010 and won a 2009 Mashable Open Web Award for best Social Media Gadget. It is compatible with Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Thunderbird, as well as the email platforms Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and AOL.
So go for it:
Promote Your Business with Every Email You Send with WiseStamp
