The Perfect Homepage
Bold Headlines Positions Health Product Brand (#7) - Vinomis.com
STRONG HEADLINE CAN BE FOR YOUR WEBSITE.
The text that you choose to make into your headline needs to be chosen carefully as it will typically be the first thing visitors read on your site. Your headline must first catch their attention and then, concisely explain to them what you do and why you're good.
If the initial messaging of your headline is inauthentic, vague, or uninformative, a prospective customer may choose to move onto another site rather than continue looking through yours.
A HEADLINE CAN ALSO SERVE AS A VALUABLE SHOWCASE FOR YOUR PRIMARY KEYWORDS.
Generic placement of your keywords does nothing to set your brand apart to users or search engines, but thoughtful headline composition can garner the positive attention of bots and humans alike. CEO Barry Yarkoni certainly considered the value of a carefully worded headline when his company's Vinomis website was being created.
"We knew that simply 'welcoming' a visitor to our site would serve no purpose as far as informing them about our product or how it can benefit them," says Yarkoni.
Vinomis offers a Resveratrol supplement made from red wine grape extract, which has been shown to increase longevity, decrease aging, and prevent numerous age-related diseases. Seems like a mouthful for a headline, right? Not if you have a basic understanding of how phrasing influences users.
"There are thousands of supplements on the market," recognizes Yarkoni, "visitors will want to know how and why Vinomis will benefit them."
ONCE AGAIN, MESSAGING
COMES BACK TO
WHAT YOU DO AND
WHY YOU'RE REALLY
GOOD AT DOING IT.
Along with a primary keyword, the use of a question, testimonial, or imperative in a headline directly addresses the user while providing details of what you offer. A headline that declared "The Anti Aging Secret" or "Cheap Resveratrol" wouldn't really have distinguished Vinomis from the many other health products out there.
The current headline, "Live longer and healthier with Resveratrol and Red Wine Grape Extracts," informs users about what Vinomis can do for them, connects it with scientifically proven benefits of red wine, and employs its primary keyword, "Resveratrol."
In addition to the wording of your headline and the careful placement of your primary keyword, Headline or H1 tags can help your site move further up the search engine listings. Google and Bing consider these tags ( <h1> <h/>) to be a clear indicator of the most important and relevant content on your site, which is ideal if it surrounds your main keyword. Combine that with a purposefully written headline and your site is on its way to stable and lasting first page organic search engnie rankings.
Let's reiterate 3 reasons to put lots of thought into your headline:
- Gives prospective customers concrete information about what you offer.
- Offers evidence as to why your product or service will benefit them.
- Displays your primary keyword to search engines.
